Hello my name is Darell Hungerford.  I was born in Washington DC and raised in Maryland. I have been a competitive swimmer for 15 years and swam at howard university on a full ride scholarship. I have coached kids and adults for 10 years, and now I have taken my talents to infant instruction for about 3 years now.

I enjoy seeing the faces of clients when the instruction finally clicks with their skills and comfort level! If I had to choose my teaching style, it would be firm instruction with a lot of positive reinforcement. I am something like a cheerleader for all of my swimmers! With that being said, each and every lesson you will go home with new confidence and skills that will carry on to other aspects of your life! I hope to see you soon and I am excited to be your coach!
